A rescue kitty with four ears and one eye escapes a life of misery, finding a loving forever home where he is cherished and adored.

Suffering is not a positive word for people to embrace, and we tend to hide away from it. Human nature and consciousness tell us to get rid of it or to deal with it. With cats, their job is to rise above and shine bright when hardships keep throwing at them. This little ball of purr is an example of suffering things that he never expected in his feline nine lives. Physically, the cat is born with four ears. Let’s say two primary ones and two supporting ones. He also lost one eye due to the operation. If you look at the cat closer, you will see his jaw is not normal, which is called an overbite. But nothing can hinder the cuteness of this cat. Let’s dive into his heartwarming story, and don’t forget to check out his social media after reading the article. Yep, he is a celebrity cat!

Frankie was born with four ears under a suburban house where he was found with another sibling

Frankenkitten (Frankie in short), was spotted hiding under a suburban house to a feral mother with his sibling by the homeowners. It was said that he would have also had some other brothers, but they seemed to cross the rainbow bridge. The homeowners felt sorry for the poor cats, so they took two of them home. They had been well-fed for several weeks until coming to the shelter for medication and rehoming. Unlike his normal brother, Frankie was more noticeable because he was rough around the edges. As slightly mentioned above, Frankie the poor puss had four dramatic ears and one eye removed.

Georgi Anderson, an animal shelter staff and pet foster carer, was asked to keep Frankie for a week for the recovery of his infectious eye.

“The eye removal allowed him to survive as the infection would have become septic and killed him.” – Anderson shared.

“He also has a very large overbite which gives his face a very angular appearance. He did come into the animal shelter with 2 eyes, but one eye had ruptured and needed removing. Frankie also has joint problems in his hind legs – his knees don’t sit properly in place, so he walks splay-legged and his knees often slide in and out of place.” – She continued.

Rescuing Frankie was tough. The foster carer had to set aside her expense to help this little guy. Angular canines were not easy for Frankie to bite wet food, so he had to have dental surgery as soon as possible for his sake. The poor feline’s legs were urgently in need of the operation to stabilize.

The sweet miracle happened within hours when Anderson had just brought Frankie home. She felt so close to the cat’s gentleness and uniqueness. He acclimated to Anderson’s house quickly which made the woman surprised. He also showed his quirky traits when he was exploring around the house.

“I went and saw him prior to his procedure and right away was struck by how sweet-natured he was. After a few hours of having him home in recovery, I knew he was special in a way I couldn’t quite describe.” – She said.

Frankie is not an ordinary kitty. He was definitely born with four ears for a reason. Anderson shared with the world how his little ears and big ears worked: “The little front ears mildly affect his directional hearing, as they almost act like little earmuffs to his proper ears.”

“The eye removal allowed him to survive as the infection would have become septic and killed him”

Due to his poor eye that was removed, Frankie’s night vision is not as good as other cats’. However, he gets used to it very well. The cat’s jaw is one of the most challenging parts that he has to cope with.

“He struggles to eat wet food because he can’t get a good grasp on it. He is on a dry food-only diet and has learned to pick kibble with his tongue and bring it into his mouth that way, rather than using his teeth.” – Anderson said.

“I worked at the animal shelter at the time that Frankie came in. I was also a foster carer so I was asked to foster him for a week as he recovered from the eye removal”

But how can we limit the playfulness of this extraordinary beauty? The foster mom agreed with the statement, she was in love with his fun-loving personality regardless of the legs’ problem.

“His legs cause him to walk splay-legged but don’t cause pain or affect the way he plays or jumps.” – The woman shared.

“A normal day for Frankie is picking different places to curl up and sleep, ambushing me every morning while I make breakfast – he likes to try and climb up my leg and then darts off like a lunatic.” – She jokingly continued.

“It wasn’t so much his unique look that sold him to me — it was his sweet demeanor, the way he explored his surroundings, and seek comfort from me”

On top of that, the cheekiness of Frankie the puss is irresistible. He loves playing with his cat and dog siblings Lucius Malfoy, Minako, and Toothless. He also likes chasing the car as if it was a toy. According to Anderson, Frankie is not only a playful and cheeky cat, but he also has a pure heart that is filled with a lot of affection. He knows whenever his mom is in the bad mood. He can comfort Anderson with a lot of purrs.

“A normal day for Frankie is picking different places to curl up and sleep, ambushing me every morning while I make breakfast — he likes to try and climb up my leg and then darts off like a lunatic”

“Playing with his brother Lucius Malfoy. Annoying his older siblings Minako and Toothless”

“He is also very sweet. He is not overly intelligent which has been a noticed trait in some other cats with 4 ears. I doubt he would fare well outside. He would see a car and think it was something to play with. But he is so loving and affectionate and seems to sense when I have had a difficult day. I almost would say he has a doglike personality.” – The woman talked about her lovingly unique feline.

“He sleeps a bit more… a lot more. Then annoys the dogs. He is a very cheeky character”

Rescue Frankie has gained himself 50K fans on Instagram who are willing to pet him with thousands of hearts. His daily life has been recorded by Anderson, and people can’t stand his cuteness in every video. The latest one was about him playing with a hoodie’s sleeve under the sun!

Many people have fallen in love with Frankie, including his perfect imperfections

You see, there is no beauty standard in this world. The way you are confident, no matter how much you have been suffering, is more important than anything else. So don’t compare yourself to others because you are one-of-a-kind!
