Recently, the cute story of a dog adopting a newborn kitten and nursing it alongside its puppies took the internet by storm. This heartwarming story has captured everyone’s heart and even melted hearts of stone. It proves that a mother’s love knows no bounds and that it applies to all species.

Ruby is a Doberman Pinscher who lives with her owner Brittany Callan in the town of Geneseo, in upstate New York. Just one week after giving birth to a litter of six puppies, she accepted and raised an abandoned newborn kitten as her own.

The kitten named Ramblin’ Rose was found in the grass by Callan. When she saw the lost kitten, she thought of Ruby, who had just had babies. She brought the little blind baby home, hoping that Ruby’s maternal instincts would kick in when she saw the helpless kitten. Fortunately, it worked. Ruby licked Rose as if she were her mother.

(She grew up with small animals and learned to be gentle, lick them and be friendly with everything… She is an extremely compassionate dog.”

Rose has now settled in with Ruby and her puppies. She loves her new puppy brother or sisters so much. Ruby and her puppies also love the kitten. Ruby even carries him around the house in her mouth. They snuggle together at night and sleep together as a little family.

The puppies will join their new home when they are 10 weeks old. Meanwhile, Callan’s cousin Gibbs will take Ramblin’ Rose home when she reaches her adult size.
