Kala and Keira, two shelter dogs who were scheduled to be euthanized on Monday, proved that love is the best way to save a life.
Angels Among Us Pet Rescue published a photo of Kala hugging Keira as a last attempt to find them a forever home and save them from their fate.
The image has been shared thousand times in just minutes, allowing the two dogs to find a new home 2 hours after the picture was uploaded to Facebook.
The icing on the cake is that the local resident who showed up at the shelter decided to adopt both Kala and Keira, allowing them to live together forever.
