Each time Nicola can only afford to take two dogs, those who have several months to live or who are on the euthanasia list. She typically gets them from shelters attempting to take care of them, since they are worth it. Nicola spends roughly £500 on a puppy. She prepares a birthday celebration for them, even though she has no idea when their birthday will be. The friendly woman brings them to the seashore to look for fish or ice cream on the beach. They also go a neighborhood tavern and have supper there. Due to Nicola, these old dogs have a chance to be a bit joyful and loved.
