Man Wakes Up To Find Entire Family Of Lynx Playing On His Porch

One morning, Tim Newton from Alaska had a rude awakening to a ruckus from a group of adorable perpetrators outside his front door.

“It was right near dawn. I heard some noises; it was like something scrambling on the deck. Coming out of my slumber, I thought, ‘What the heck is that?’ So I put on my bathrobe and slowly eased back the curtain. And right there, 2 feet away, was a lynx kitten. He was sitting there watching his siblings race by.”

” Newton told The Dodo.

Tim lives on a property that borders a big natural area, so he’s partial to seeing wildlife crossing his yard.

On this special morning, the family of adorable felines didn’t just pass through but also used his porch as their playground.

“She called to them and they all lined up right outside in front of where he was standing (he was inside the screen door!) Amazing ALASKA WILD LIFE!!! They proceeded to run and play on our deck, and then in our yard!”

“They were running back and forth, pouncing on each other. I started snapping away. I thought, ‘Wow! What incredible luck. This just beats all. This is just wonderful!’”

“I’ve concluded that lynx must spend 1 percent of their waking lives chasing rabbits, and 99 percent chasing their kids. It was pretty much non-stop frolicking and rough-housing.”
