She was brought to the Mitchell Count Animal Rescue (MCAR) after her previous owner passed away.
The shelter employees believed that she must have been struggling with health issues and experienced trauma in her past, making her an angry cat.
But she wasn’t sick. She was just a very mean cat, as this poster claims.
The shelter’s office manager, Brittany Taylor provided further proof of Perdita’s meanness: “She pretends like she wants you to pet her and love on her.”

Taylor also said, “As soon as you pick her up, she starts growling. She will swat you. She’s just all-out awful.”
